The bistro Garðskálinn opened recently on the museum's lower floor. Garðskálinn offers soups, sandwiches, freshly baked bread, cakes and coffee. Every Thursday and Friday between 3 and 5 p.m. is happy hour at Garðskálinn with discounts of drinks.

The emphasise at Garðskálinn is creating simple and good food from the freshest ingredients. The cakes and sour dough bread are baked in house and the food is all made from scratch.

The menu is on Garðskálinn's website.
