An event programme will be held on the last weekend of The In, With and Between Us, 26.-27. August.

Saga Sigurðardóttir, choreographer and dancer, will lead a participation event in Gurdjieff inspired movements on Saturday 26. August at 3 p.m. The event is in relation to Theresa Himmer's artwork Architectural Procedures where Saga Sigurðardóttir interpreted Gurdjieff movements in relations to the architecture of Gerðarsafn. The work refers to the interest of Gerður Helgadóttir (1928-1975) in spiritualism. She sought lectures on Gurdjieff's teachings in Paris and studied spiritual movements where "the body as the link between the inner and the outer world".
Garðskálinn bistro will have a happy hour after the event.

On Sunday 27. August, artists Ragnheiður Gestsdóttir and Theresa Himmer will lead guests around the exhibition and discuss their work.

The programme is open to all and free with admission to the museum.
