Welcome to an exhibition talk about NEW RELEASE on Sunday 27 September at 3 pm. Art historian Silja Pálmarsdóttir will discuss Ólafur Elíasson's use of space as medium.

Silja Pálmarsdóttir is an art historian with an additional master's degree in International Visual Arts from the University of Bologna. Silja examined space as a medium in Ólafur Elíasson's works in her master's thesis and will discuss her findings.

The exhibition presents Icelandic and international artists that test on the border of visual arts, contemporary music, performance art and sound art. The exhibition opened as part of Cycle Music and Art Festival that took place in Kópavogur August 13 - 16.

The exhibition talk is free of charge.
